Rush Cub Scout Pack 134 is going to watch an exciting electric safety demonstration at RGE!  Arrive at 6:45 and park to the right of the building to enter through the side door.  Seating is first come, first serve.

Pine Wood Derby is Saturday, 2/9!

Check in from 8:30 - 9:00. Races start at 9:00.

Friday is practice day to tune up your cars. The track will be available at 6:00 pm at the Church.

Our January Pack Meeting is coming up on the 17th. We will be having a pinewood derby racing clinic. Please bring your car with you whether you have started or not. We will be cutting the cars for the kids and helping with wheels and all the tricks to get a fast car.

The pinewood derby cars were given out last pack meeting. If you have not received a car, please email the pack or we will have them at the pack meeting.

Remeber our theme is Jurassic Park!

Our annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser is this weekend on January 12th. 

The 10 tickets per Cub (5 per additional Cub, excluding Lions) were passed out at our last two pack meetings.  If you didn't get your envelope, contact us through the pack email.  The price for the tickets is included in the annual dues.  You are welcomed to sell them to family and friends for 5$ each for you to keep.  If you need more tickets, please let the Committee know.

Please sign into the website and register that you are coming by January 12th.  It will help us plan the event better.  If you are unable to sign in, please let us know by responding to this email so we can help.

The Details:

Please wear Class "B" shirts (Pack t-shirts, Cub Scouting t-shirts, or navy blue t-shirts)

The Cubs will seat our guests and families, take orders, deliver the food, and bus the tables.  It's amazing to see our boys and girls so helpful.  Applebee's will have staff in the kitchen to cook and run the dishwasher.

Please arrive at 7:30 a.m.

Service will be from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.

We'll clean up and be done.

It's a quick and easy fundraiser for our group!

Pinewood Derby Rules

The theme for the derby is Jurassic Park!

Plan to meet at the entrance of wonderworks. Please RSVP on the calendar so we know who is coming. You decide on which activities you would like to participate in and can stay as long as you want. Class B shirts can be worn if you have one and recommend sneakers especially if you are doing the ropes course. Do not wear your class a uniform.
